Spring Presentation 2009
Originally a picture for an article i write for an art magazine. Its about an artist and his-her multiples jobs to sustain him(her)self. How he(she) struggle to live and to fulfill all the needs that comes with responsibilities. Being an artist is to be subjected to a big list of sensibility issues, prejudice and stereotypes and with with work im presenting another version of the stereotype that all culture workers are depresive and would take the gun-choice if everything else fails.
The truth hurts and the reaction of being rejected even when you know the outcome is recomforting because you can now have an insight of how the different processes used on cultural projects were implemented, corrupted and tergiversated just to make others meanings, other results. Like the novel Chronicle of a Death Foretold all the crisis was announced, and yet it surprised a lot of people.
With this video I want to create an atmosphere that reveals how the products have their own parallel world. They are created by humans and they are eaten all living organisms. By using human voices I intent to show the humanist side of being a product.
